Took a stroll down the Ivel from Girtford Bridge to Blunham Mills late Saturday afternoon. Mainly common fare but a very nice pair of Oyster Catchers & c20 Redwing in a field next to Brookfield Farm at TL 157 499. Very tolerant and settled, I even managed some rather distant and fuzzy record shots :)

Other highlights included a Little Egret and 3 Green Woodpeckers. There were also 10 Greylag Geese in the same field as the Oyster Catchers. |
