Grey Heron - Ardea cinerea

In my experience you get two types of Grey Heron, the sort that take to the air as soon as they spot you and this sort. Found standing in the small weir on the cut at the back of Aspects Leisure Park, Bedford. It wasn't phased at all, I would have like to have got a bit closer as the light was pretty poor but this was as close as I could get without going for a swim ;)
